Who We Are

Gro Myco builds equipment for serious mushroom growers.

Not hobbyists dabbling with a tech they found online. Not large commercial farms with a full lab staff. The growers in between — people who've outgrown their still air box, who've lost too many batches to contamination, who know the difference between a good inoculation session and a frustrating one.

We're a small team. We don't sell a hundred products. We build one thing at a time and we build it well.

Why Steriflo Exists

The flow hood market has a problem.

Industrial units are built for laboratories — oversized, overpriced, and designed for an environment most growers will never have. Budget alternatives from overseas marketplaces arrive on 220V power (useless in a US outlet), with filters that may have been damaged in transit, and no one to call when something goes wrong.

We built Steriflo because neither option made sense for the grower who takes their work seriously but doesn't have a lab budget.

True H13 HEPA filtration. Three-speed airflow control. A stainless steel latch system that holds a proper seal. 110V US plug — no adapters, no guesswork. Fits on a workbench. Ships in 3–5 days.

$499. That's it.

Our Standard

Every Steriflo unit is hand-inspected before it ships. We check the filter seal, the latch tension, and the airflow output. If it doesn't meet spec, it doesn't ship.

We've seen what happens when growers receive equipment that wasn't properly tested — a damaged filter seal, a loose latch, a pre-filter that shifts in transit. It shows up three weeks later as a contaminated batch. That's not a manufacturing defect at that point. It's a trust failure. We don't ship units we wouldn't use ourselves.

Who Steriflo Is For

Steriflo is for the grower who has outgrown the still air box. Who has ruled out bad technique, bad substrate, bad sterilization — and still loses batches. Who knows the contamination is coming from the air, not from anything they're doing wrong. Who is ready to solve the problem properly instead of working around it.

It's for the grower running agar work who needs a clean work surface that doesn't depend on perfect environmental conditions. For the small commercial grower who can't afford to lose product to contamination. For the serious hobbyist who measures success in clean inoculations per session, not in how carefully they breathe.

If that's you — Steriflo was built for you.
